I could have posted this first picture and felt it was totally sufficent enough for an entire blog post. Total mermaid.

Emily has insanely awesome style, a beautiful face, and a perfect personality! You meet a sweet girl like her and you hope she finds a guy who is well-deserving of being with such a wonderful girl– thankfully she has. I shot her boyfriend, Bradley’s senior pictures a few weeks prior and hes the type of guy I wish would be my best friend. They are basically a gorgeous-power couple in the high school scene.

Its funny how things pan out. After last year, I was sort of sad that I was lacking any seniors from Mountain Ridge (the school I graduated from) and this year, not only was it probably where a majority of my seniors attended– they were all gorgeous. Again, it is where I graduated, so it must just be a really pretty school.




I always like to tell the people I am working with… “You look great, but I dont want that to go to your head… I will always look better than you do.” And Paige, I am going to say you definitely gave me a run for my money on this next one. Beautiful.

I apologize for the small size of all the width-ways photos… my proofing system is a little lacking right now.

Almost a year ago, I read this article about photography and it basically said that we cant be a Jack of all trades. We have to narrow our scope and stick to it. I tell people all the time that if it came down to it and I had to choose– I would always choose childrens photography. But its not life or death and I dont want to limit myself. I love getting to work with such a diverse group of people and I wouldnt trade that for anything. I am a childrens photographer– but I am not limited.

Its senior season baby and I will shoot if I want to. This is Bethany. She is gorgeous, funny, a soccer-player, and just so happens to look just like Carrie Underwood (which makes my job that much easier).

Well, I am WAY behind on blogging and I just really need to get back into the swing of things! Life has been crazy but SO incredibly good. Ive managed to keep busy and I am so blessed to work with all the amazing people I’ve worked with!!

I miss the excitement of the blog!
